We can introduce you to RG Solicitors even we have not arranged your mortgage
Fees are fixed at £495 plus VAT and disbursements regardless of the price of the property up to £500k and increase by £100 per £100,000 above that.
We do not charge any additional premium for leasehold properties.
Included within the Conveyancing fee, is a complimentary Will for the client giving peace of mind that they have made adequate provision for the future.

Plus Fact Sheet
Plus is a unique warranty offered through RG Solicitors which protects buyer's out of pocket expenses throughout their purchase transaction up to exchange of contracts.
What is Plus?
Plus is the protection offered through RG Solicitors in the event of a purchase transaction failing to complete for the reasons set out in this document.
EVENTS COVERED BY PLUS
The purchase of the property failing due to any of the following occurring during the period of insurance:
1. The property is withdrawn from sale by the vendor due to reasons beyond The RG buyer's control and the buyer cannot proceed with the purchase.
2. The vendor receives and accepts an offer from a third party, which is a Minimum of £1000 greater than the offer they previously accepted from an RG Buyer and the buyer is not prepared to increase their offer.
3. A survey/valuation is carried out and the property needs rectification work to be carried out, the cost of which exceeds 5% of the sum the RG Buyer has offered and the Buyer decides not to proceed.
4. A survey/valuation is carried out and the property has been underpinned or shows signs of subsidence and the RG Buyer decides not to proceed.
5. A Local Authority search highlights that the property is
o The subject of a compulsory purchase order;
o In a flood plain;
o On contaminated land ;
o Over a mining area
And the RG Buyer decides not to proceed.
6. A search identifies a defect in the title which cannot be rectified and the RG Buyer decides not to proceed.
7. The vendor is not legally entitled to sell the property or to transfer interest in the property to the RG Buyer.
8. You:
a) Die and your survivor is unable or unwilling to continue with the purchase; or
b) contract a critical illness or sustain a serious injury and the RG Buyer is unable or unwilling
To continue with the purchase; or
c) Is given notice of redundancy and is unable or unwilling to continue with the purchase; or
d) Is given notification of relocation and is unable or unwilling to continue with the purchase.
9. The initial mortgage lenders valuation of the property is less than 90% of the sum the RG Buyer has offered for the property and which has been accepted and the RG Buyer decides not to proceed.
10. The mortgage lender insists upon a second survey report such as a damp and timber or electrical survey being carried out on the property prior to the releasing of funds and the cost of such additional rectification work exceeds 10% of the sum the RG Buyer has offered and which has been accepted, and the RG Buyer decides not to proceed.
11. The mortgage lender applies retention on the loan for the property and this figure exceeds 5% of the sum the RG Buyer has offered for the property and which has been accepted and the RG Buyer decides not to proceed.
12. The property sustains damage during the period of insurance where the total cost of rectification work exceeds 5% of the property value and the RG Buyer decides not to proceed.
When will cover end?
1) 12 months from the start date
2) The buyer makes a claim on this policy;
3) RG or we cancel this policy;
4) The Buyer exchanges contracts on the property.
What is not covered?
You are not covered for costs & expenses:-
1. Incurred before the start date of the policy.
2. If the RG Buyer withdraws from the purchase of the property for reasons other than those covered by this policy.
3. If RG or RG Buyer is aware, prior to the start date, of any circumstances, Including any adverse survey of the property, this could lead to a claim being made under this policy.
4. If RG or RG Buyer deliberately and knowingly cause a delay or use unreasonable behaviour that results in the failed purchase.
5. Where they can be reimbursed by the RG Buyer employer.
6. Where RG or the RG Buyer is able to obtain a refund from the lender or solicitor
How much can the client claim?
Subject to terms and conditions if the purchase falls through for no reason of the client Plus will reimburse you up to £500 mortgage arrangement fees, £600 in solicitor disbursement fees and £750 survey and valuation fees.
How to make a claim?
In the event of a claim under the warranty, the Client shall notify the Company immediately. This must be done by completing a Plus Warranty Claim Form, which can obtained from our customer service team on
sales@rgsolicitors.co.uk, and posting to RG Plus Warranty Claims,
RG Solicitors, 25 Sidcup High Street, Sidcup, Kent DA14 6ED.
All claims must be made as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days of the date that you were aware that a claim may be made. Each Plus warranty will expire 12 calendar
months from the date payment is made to engage the service which includes RG Plus
as a free benefit, or from the date that Plus is purchased under separate cover.
